Special Olympics Ontario St. Thomas

Special Olympics St.Thomas and District was formed or created about 1990. With a lot of dedicated volunteers, parents and sponsors, we now have wonderful programs including; basketball, bowling, curling, floor hockey, soccer, softball, T-ball, swimming and track and field giving our athletes the chance to participate, compete and travel with Special Olympics Ontario.

Seventh SOO St.Thomas & District Softball Tournament

On July 21, 2007, Special Olympics Ontario St.Thomas hosted its seventh annual softball tournament at the Douglas J. Tarry Sports Complex in St.Thomas. On a warm and sunny day twelve teams from across Southwestern Ontario competed in levels B and C. The tournament was coordinated by Karen Whitcroft, and managed on the day by Stephen Plaunt, head coach.
